1Design choice
Neon on brick
Glowing neon-tube lettering over a dark brick wall — the arcade/streetwear world the audience actually lives in, deliberately not a civic-nonprofit look. It signals “this is a real gaming event” at a glance.
2Design choice
PlayStation glyphs as confetti
The △ ○ ✕ ◻ controller symbols scattered across the frame — an instant, wordless gaming cue that sets the tone before you read the title.
3How I sourced it
The credibility stack
“Presented by” Dominicanos USA + FDDE, with Juncture Media, Microsoft, and Playcrafting locked up at the top — the partner logos that made a free event at Microsoft Times Square believable.
4Design choice
“FREE” as the hook
A red neon “FREE” anchors the lower-left — entry, food, indie games, 1v1 with pros — the single word that drives RSVPs, given the most visual weight after the title.
5How I sourced it
The logistics + QR
Wednesday, October 2 · 6–9pm · Microsoft Technology Center, 11 Times Square, NYC, with a scannable QR to RSVP — the practical details kept legible against the busy art.
